Independent Dispute Resolution Service. A Wholly owned subsidiary of the registered charity, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Resolution of complaints against some HIP providers, Home Inspectors, Domestic Energy Assessors and tenants deposit disputes for landlords.
Ombudsman for Estate Agents. Resolution and redress for consumer complaints about estate agency and some lettings.
Surveyers Ombudsman Service. Ombudsman Service for Chartered Surveying Firms and their customers. This website will tell you what they do and how to use the Service.
The Dispute Service. An independent, not-for-profit company set up to resolve complaints and disputes arising in the private rented sector. As well as running the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, the company deals with complaints against members of The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA). Also runs a similar scheme, under the auspices of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents, for its members who undertake lettings.
Legal Complaints Service. The LCS investigates complaints about solicitors and conveyancers.
Office of the Legal Services Ombudsman. The Legal Services Ombudsman oversees the handling of complaints about lawyers in England and Wales.
