When comparing prices between HIP suppliers take account of the following;
- The price we quote is what you pay. Our price is all inclusive and includes printed copy, electronic copy and online viewing on this website. The electronic copy can be printed and copied. Interested parties can download individual parts from the online version (password protected). Some Hip suppliers do not password protect online access thus anybody can see your personal details. Some quote ex-vat, some charge extra for printed copies, digital copies and online viewing. Make sure you check.
- You will receive a refund of part of the cost of the HIP if you recommend us to someone else who subsequently orders a HIP from us.
- We are independent of Estate Agents, Solicitors & Conveyancers. We will not try to sell you such a service.
- You will own the HIP. This leaves you free to sell your property however you please; online marketing and/or multiple Estate Agents using any Solicitor or Conveyancer of your choice. If you rely on an Estate Agent to supply your HIP make absolutely sure you understand who owns the HIP and what happens if you change agents.
- Offers of a free, reduced cost or deferred HIP are never what they seem. Tread carefully. All come at a price.
- We are a professional company focused on providing a quality HIP. All information is checked, then checked again for accuracy and presentation. Accuracy is vital as any inaccuracies may delay a sale while the Buyer’s solicitor seeks clarification or at worst the sale may fall through.
When necessary other Searches such as Flooding, Mining, Radon etc. can be carried out for an additional cost. We will advise when we think these are necessary.
